only thing I'm not sure about this is Chien-Pao being listed as the water element but otherwise it's definitely interesting.
here are some of my own observations
it might be unintentional since Gholdengo is the #1000 Pokemon but he is followed by the legendary quartet (Wo-Chien is #1001 and so on..)
Their designs also feature the 'element' with some sort of inanimate object, for Gholdengo's case it's the treasure chest he wears as a belt.
the Treasures of Ruin are... treasures while Gimmighoul/Gholdengo get a literal treasure chest. the part about their designs might be too much of a reach but I'll be keeping this theory in mind.
