am i the only one who thinks gamefreak tried way too hard to pander to competitive schizos this gen?
>starters all have S tier abilities with signature moves you'd see on a shitty rom hack
>pokemon that would have been a shitmon in other gens gets a 200 total bp multi hit move with technician and a dragon dance clone that also cleans hazards
>fucking shed tail
>2 mons get unaware and insanely good stats for a wall, a combo we never had until now
>2 of the treasures of ruin are just shamelessly outclassing older pokemon, with chien pao having almost the same stat spread as weavile and chi yu making houndoom even more obsolete
