I'm almost 30 years old and it's been13 years since a good Pokémon game came out.

Gens 1, 3, and 4 were all good. 2 and 7 were okay. 6 is somewhere in between. I haven't played enough of the others to have an opinion on them. The Mystery Dungeons and Rangers I've played were fun.

Legends battle system wasn't fun and the world looks bad and is boring to explore. BW has too many tutorials and text boxes with lots of uninspired monster designs.

I made this thread contemplating a common and non-controversial opinion that the Pokémon franchise is in free fall.
