Also, fuck, this is a painful reminder of the potential the Cerise Park setting had and how Goh's "Catch 'Em All" goal could've been so good together. Imagine if the series had leaned more heavily into exploring the relationships and interactions amongst Goh's Pokemon, and Goh (along with Ash) occasionally stepping in to solve mysteries/problems. Could've been SO GOOD. I love so many of PM19's ideas on paper, but the series barely makes use of these ideas. Goh and his goal, and PM19 as a whole, really deserved so much better than what we got.
