I feel nothing for any generational gimmick anymore. It's an interesting idea but it's a oneoff gimmick that doesn't have any lasting impact on the core gameplay and in 2 years it will be gone and replaced with something else and any pokemon that were made good or given interesting new strategies will be back to being made shit and useless. It's a waste of time to form any kind of attachment to these new mechanics or any pokemon that benefit from them because they'll all be gone next generation and never seen again.

When he referred to fangames "stealing" content, when they never took credit for the original creation. The term "fangame" implies they acknowledge the original property isn't theirs, and most fangames don't make money at all and are just made out of pure love.

This. G-max raids weren't fantastic but they were way more fun than Tera raids. It's impossible to tell what's actually happening, there's no way to coordinate or strategize with your teammates, and the game is almost never sure how much HP the raid boss actually has so the health bar is massively deceptive. They really need to fix these things, but I know they won't.

If the genre chart wasn't so lopsided, it would have been decent actually. But they didn't even bother to balance things better for this gen, so there you go.

Glad that a gimmick isn't limited to a select special group. Z-Moves were a step in the right direction until they made those dumb special crystals, and the same goes for Dynamax having Gigantamax. For the next game they should have multiple abilities as a permanent feature

hmmm, yes it's the *teras my dragapult into a steel type, resists a move that would have killed it otherwise and proceeds to rape you with terablast* most well deisgned battle mechanic they've introduced since *the animation goes first so you have no way to counter it* gen 3. it's the best gimmick since *teras my maushold into a ghost type as soon as i see koraidon* triple/rotation battle. it is mechanically a *obliterates your entire team with electric miraidon since none of the useable ground types are outspeeding* lot of fun. best gimmick so far *reams my tera type fairy garchomp hand so far up your chien pao's ass that it comes out its mouth and punches the swords stuck in its face out* actually sad to *gangbangs your koraidon back into the cretacious period with population bomb after rendering a guarenteed oneshot collision course ineffective* see it go *guts you and hangs you with your own intestines* next gen.
