Unironicaly, because Nintendo forces GF to rush the games and they may have also pressured GF into moving the mainline series into 3D overworld/models with the advent of the 3DS.

Exactly. What really matters to ALL parties involved in the franchise is the steady release of merch. This is why they do yearly releases of games that can't be changed. Everything ties into the anime, the cards, the clothes, the dolls, the accessories, the comics, etc, etc, etc. The love of money inevitably destroys art.

The Switch is more capable than the Gameboy, Gameboy Color, Gameboy Advance, DS, and 3DS. At least some of those made good Pokemon games. When you have a better workbench than the old workbench you made great stuff with, you should still be able to make great stuff, even if it's not the fanciest workbench available.

That’s just incorrect.

Game freak needs to find a way to seperate mercy from the games. That’s why they tried PLA. That way they can hold off the mainline games (and introducing new Pokémon) by releasing a game set in the past with like 8 new Pokémon.

This will slow the pace of new Pokémon while still allowing for new merchandising opportunities.

The hardware has nothing to do with the low quality.
