At this point it's on you anon. They keep making the fuckers easier and easier to run into to the point it's unbelievable you haven't run into a single one ever in the last 21 years. The only way I can imagine someone not having caught a shiny since RS released is if they actively just speedrun every game and use repels constantly.

Repels only work on low level pokemon and havent been a thing since gen 7 so he either played like 2 games or hes the most unlucky fucker alive

Usually premier balls if I remember, but sometimes I try to match them. If not, they just get a regular pokeball like everything else I catch.

I genuinely don't understand why the ball differences aren't some sort of tag on the ball itself, like the master tag that turns any one ball into a guaranteed capture, or the dusk tag that makes any one ball better at night and in caves.
Then just give you access to a myriad of different ball designs, it'd be easy to spit out 2-300 great ones.
