>>53065872It's a 100% accuracy move widely accessible by several mons. Confusion uses the pokémon attack to inflict self-damage. Increasing your opponent's attack will increase the amount they take from confusion.
Not the best move, but it's a nice in-game choice. And specially good against special attackers who cannot use the attack boost to help you.
You can also use persim/lum berry to turn swagger into a stat boost on double battles. DPP has the double battles partner target swagger on you if you have an item that removes confusion.
