However, this is actually a bug because its animation retained the non-shiny Gigalith's colors, resulting in the mixing of the two's colors. They fixed it in Sword and Shield:

I used one in my first run of White and it put in work like the other trade evolutions. It would have been much better if it became a special-attacking rock type to give it a niche and better make use of its movepool.
