What’s the ideal Pokémon for transportation? Some criteria:
>flies
>big enough to fit me and possibly a shouldermon
>bonus points for good defense
>bonus points for sick projectile attacks
>not legendary

Kilowattrel can be pretty big
but if you wanted to ride it comfortably, you'd really want them to be twice as big. (so maybe about the size of Ho-oh)
the idea that this might be too much to ask for is the price you pay for a good bird mount

YES.. technically steelix can fly.

Gyarados, Mantine, Tropius & Celesteela are good sized flying types too.

To add to this post you could sit your asscheeks between the two cones of vanilluxe and hold onto his wafer straw looking thing while he uses magnet rise too. You might get a frost-bitten ass though if you don't have high companionship with it.
