>>53082646This. In the case of HGSS, I think it’s only better than GSC when it comes to the post game. If I ever make a romhack, it’s going to be a simple edit of GSC featuring:

>2Stat fixes. Sneasel is complete shit for having unusable STAB. Kingler could use some SPA. Hypno was gutted by the special stat split. Some mon are simply shit (Ledian is actually better than yanma kek). Many such cases.

That’s all I feel like GSC needs, realistically. I know there are ways to modify/improve the box system now, but I’m unsure if that could still be played without emulation.
