Lycanroc didn't exist yet, and you're retarded wondering why this Pokemon created around 2014/5 and first appeared in a game released in 2016 didn't appear in a game first released in 2009.
Meanwhile, they could've put Blastoise in SV, they just chose not to.

They're wording is poor but the point isn't entirely wrong. By the end of SwSh there were about 600 transferable pokemon with 400 being in the base dex, that's a lot more than HGSS' ~250 dex with 500 total transfers. If your only problem is the number, you cpuld see later gens as better. If your only complaint is the percentage of existing mons, you had them all 10 years ago, but playing a gen 4 game today you can only transfer 500 out of 1000 existing pokemon. And believe it or not, most people don't have a time machine to go back and play HGSS ten years ago.

The complaint is percentage of existing Pokemon at the time of the games creation. HGSS has 493, 100%. You can make a complete living dex with transfers, you can use randomizers and have access to every and any Pokemon. SWSH and SV don't have 100%, you cannot make a complete living dex, and randomizers wouldn't give you access to anything you couldn't already access.

Clearly not for dexers, who seethe out their ass and cry its the death of the series when they can't use Stantler in muh newer games, despite the fact I can't use Veluza when I boot up BW2.
Normal people can find both pre and post-dexcut games perfectly enjoyable and don't need to have every single Pokemon or even that many Pokemon to find a game great, see PLA or Snap. It literally is just DStards shitting their pants over this.
