I've always been a little caught up on the fact that May and Brendan dad will completely different in the games depending on who you play as. Like, I know the anime and manga have their own canon, but it's just a little weird that the core series has this weird quirk with the protags father. Like I don't want to make this a "pokemon cuckold theory" or anything, it's just odd that half of the players see Birch as May's dad and half of them see Norman
