Do scanlation groups still exist? Are any of the pokemon manga getting translations anymore?

How does one go about translating manga? I have 15 years photoshop experience but zero knowledge in languages, could you get something like Google Translate to assist and just manually tweak any shitty engrish?

Honestly you technically COULD, I've seen scanlations that do the same or just outright seem to guess/make up bullshit when you compare them to the original text. It wouldn't be the worst translation out there.

It just also wouldn't be a great translation in general, even compared to using Google Translate for something like Spanish --> English.

It's totally fine if it's japanese and you use deeply instead of goodgle translate. Get a japanese OCR reader and make sure to manually tagliate names of characters and Pokemon. It's only an issue with works that have word plays and puns.
