I've implemented some achievements (picrel) which primarily are there so the player/reader knows what content has and hasn't been seen yet. Achievements will be persistent between playthroughs and some of them also unlock things in an "extras" menu that will include things like showing your cynthia_love and jasmine_love stats, or starting off with your pokemon evolved. This will probably all be available in the next major update, but...
I'm having a hard time commissioning actual art for this for some reason. I need several SFW CG's and a whole bunch of NSFW ones, and I have plenty of money to throw at some artists, but out of everyone I PM'd or DM'd, almost no one has even answered me. Maybe I'm just being impatient, I dunno. I need a better way to recruit artists than just cold calling randos. I wish I had artist friends.
I'm getting increasingly uncomfortable with the fact that the VN contains art that's completely stolen from pixiv or deviantart and used without permission. My priority for commissioning CG's is to replace all the stolen art with paid art that I have permission to use. I might open up a ko-fi or something after I've done that. I won't put this behind a paywall, but I won't decline donations once I'm not using stolen art anymore. I'm not worried about official art or sprites stolen from Nintendo since I'm using their IP anyway, and I'm pretty sure I'm covered under fair use doctrine regardless. I just don't feel right stealing art from random strangers even though I'm not making money off of it. I might hold off on releasing another update until I have new art to replace the stolen assets. Not sure.
