>>53113122>and the real ones died years ago because they fucked up the time machine or somethingWhat? No, the real professor died because the aggressive Raidon attacked our bike Raidon, and they cared so much about the bike Raidon that they took the blow to protect it, which was a mortal wound that ended up killing them (probably bled out or some bullshit). It was an accident.
Seems like the professor loved the Raidon as much, if not more than their own son, which is obviously insane, but speaks for their obsession with the Scarlet/Violet Book.
>they were actually really caring people even though they made this killer ai to protect their apocalyptical time machineThe implication seems to be that their desire to create their "paradise" for their family ("us three" before the other parent left) was so extreme, so obsessive that they went insane. They got so consumed by their work, trying to create their ideal life for their loved ones (which in the end seems to be only Arven and Raidon since the other parent left long ago) that they prioritized their work over anything else. Like a "it's shitty now but I gotta work hard so we'll be happy in the future" kind of thing where they focused so hard on their work they ignored everything else.
They definitely DID go crazy, that's the whole point.
The weird part is actually pic related. There seem to be at least TWO instances of AI that seem to contain fragments of the prof's memory. First is obviously the AI that we meet when we enter the Zero Lab. This one seems very robotic and rational, despite being based on the professor's memory. Then we have the PPP, which overrides the first instant of the AI professor? Or something? It also seems a lot more emotional, or at the very least less rational than the other AI. How can that be? Aren't they based on the same technology? Was the professor legit schizophrenic?
It's just so weird. Maybe we'll find out more but the professor was definitely fucking insane.
