>>53114475If you can find a cheap enough SKS they're perfect for beginners in shitty cities/states. They're old semi-automatic combloc rifles so they're borderline invincible, not a lot of parts so learning how they (and guns in general) operate isn't intimidating, they eat any 7.62x39 ammo you find (just make sure you clean it if you're shooting corrosive rounds) so you can get a lot of cheap range time in, and if they're in their original wooden stock they're almost featureless so they're legal basically everywhere.
Only issue is that people discovered this and now they're not $300 bucks anymore
