>>53121378Forgot to add it concerns DS/3DS cards mostly my GBC and GBA carts are fine. I'm trying to find the source I had but it was something observed by multiple DS/3DS players.
Booting a card from time to Time doesn't hurt either.
For my issue it was Metroid 2 remake that had a problem, before it was fully corrupted the console had difficulty to read the cart, I dismissed it as a faulty game cartridge and left it a little bit more than one year without touching and the next time the game save couldn't be read. Fire Emblem SoV started to display the same issues, I played it daily for one week and now it runs fine.
There's also parameters such as heat/humidity/etc of your country. The only GBC issue I had was replacing the battery in the Crystal cartridge, it was playable but wouldn't have the day/Night stuff. Once the battery was changed everything was alright.
The only issues I had so far were with DS/3DS cartridges, haven't seen something like that about GBA carts yet.
