I agree they're annoying, but that's because they're tedious more than anything and SV's shitty physics made some of them a lot harder. I can't tell you how many times the olive rolling one launched the olive back super far on me. I'd rather they just give us the traditional gym puzzles instead of these stupid little minigames we've had since Gen VII.

Rolling an olive around is so challenging and adds so much more depth and replayability to the game, right?
If they want to add minigames they should just make another Pokeathlon so they can flesh them out a bit instead of making them shitty one time only things tied to gyms.

You're tuning out finding switches in trash cans, sliding across an ice puzzle, going across warp tiles, flying across with a series of cannons and other such roadblocks needed to face the leader. All that changed is that they just wanna be consistently colorful about it.
