Dark and Sinnoh.
I just like it when a region has lots of varied areas so Sinnoh having a snowy area, marshes, mountains and whatnot helps a lot. Paldea came close but it lacks the little extras.

Hard to pick just one type. Because a lot of my favourite Pokemon fall under the bug, grass, and water typing. So it's a close tie between those three. If I had to go with an overall favourite region then it would have to be Alola.

don't have a favorite type so id probably say normal for the variety, but fairy stole a lot of the ones i particularly liked
favorite region is probably hoenn for the natural environments and secret bases or kanto for the interconnectedness and small town feel surrounding a big city
miltank is a beautiful pokemon hampered by mostly terrible art

Paldea had some truly excellent locations, but the empty nature of the cities killed the region for me. I prefer it to Galar, at least. I still have a net positive opinion of Galar.
