In the game, she's very corrupt. She's a newswoman, and sweeps Team Flare activity under the rug on air. She hates you for saving humanity, and thinks Lysandre was in the right even after losing. Sold out her colleagues to avoid prison, and keep her career intact. Unironically one of the best villains in Pokemon without actively getting her hands dirty.
In the manga she's pretty much the same, but now she goes out of her way to hunt the main characters down. She's also horny for Lysandre, no exaggeration.
The anime re-wrote her completely. She didn't know how crazy her colleagues were, and defected. Probably wanted to tone things down for the young viewers.
