>>53141113Charizard's an objectively great design that's withstood the test of time. It's shilled to hell and back for a reason.
Typhlosion is alright, but a bit bland, something that's been an issue for it outside of the more chibi-fied OG spritework.
Blaziken is a highly unique design, incorporating avian elements into a humanoid taekwondo-esque fighter. It's a great monster creature.
Infernape is pretty great. Works together a lot of themes that naturally fit well, justifies its typing, and generally looks cool for a monkey, which is hard to do.
Emboar is a bit underrated. Not my taste, but I dont think anythings really objectively wrong with it. Has pig ganon vibes, and if youre looking for a tough, brutish pokemon it works. Even though its got luchador/sumo themes, its vague enough to stay within the "monster" category, not too anthropomorphized. I would say its typing is easily the most objectionable of the 3. Not nonsensical, but between being the 3rd Fire Fighter in a row and also the theme being loose enough in its design, it could've easily been part Ground or something and not raised many eyebrows.
Delphox's dynamic official art looks WAY better than its 3D model. It is insanely stiff, looks like a damn traffic cone. Its model needs a rework and better pose.
Its design looks undercooked to me. Fine concept, relatively bland and straightfoward execution.
Incineroar is absolutely hideous. I hate its lack of muscle definition, making it look like an inflatable or plush toy. I hate how imbalanced its body looks. I hate how flat and stick like its body is. The heads design is the only thing saving it.
Cinderace is somehow just as bad as Incineroar. Unironically looks like a fursuit, proportions and all. Even has a disporportionatly large head, akin to a fursuit helmet. Also continues the trend of random shapes and scribbles needlessly "filling in" the Pokemon, as if they didnt have a good organic idea of how to add visual density to the design.
