About these “Legendaries”, as the zoomers say: what a mid generation. This generation is full of disappointments & lame legendaries.

I know this is bait, but these are genuinely the most interesting legendaries since the regi trio. Unique designs and open-ended lore let your imagination run wild and fantasize about these mystical monsters to a level we haven't seen in a very long time. Very few pokemon get the neurons firing like these do.

They are textbook definition of what legendary pokemon should always be.
>There is actual legends about them in region’s lore
>Their designs are distinct enough so they don’t feel copy-pasted but they still have lots in common
>You need to actively search and explore every nook and cranny of the region to get them (good luck finding Chi-Yu shrine without any guids or completed history lessons, lol)
>They are completely unnecessary task to do therefore they aren’t shoved into your face by cutscenes constantly and their look remains pretty much mystery until you encounter them

Eternatus is a mess of an entity that's even more overdesigned than the Gen 4 legends
Calyrex is a deer with a large head tumor and a frail boy's body
The horses are just as uninspiring as the wolves with a sword in mouth or a shield mane
Kubfu/Urshifu are the fursonas that have quickly been forgotten, a classic story of trying to re-enact the zeraora shilling to no success
