I want to replay Gen V. I only completed B/W when it came out, but skipped on B2/W2.

Should I replay B/W since I don't remember much or jump straight into the sequels? Does it even matter?

PS: I love Hilda.

Gen 5 in general is lacking. BW1 are mid at best and a slog with all the forced unskippable cutscenes and tutorials, and BW2 just makes it worse with more of those including forcing you to play the obligatory retarded gimmick mode in pokestar studios to progress and having to go through the ultimate nostalgiawank feature the PWT.

You could replay BW and then 8 months later play BW2 for maximum immersion, since BW2 takes place 2 years after BW, and the in-game season cycle is 4 IRL months :^)
No, but seriously, just make sure you play the same color. Don't play Black and then White 2, for example. If you want to reviit BW, you may be able to use the Memory Link feature to see some extra content in BW2 when the time comes (I think I managed to do it on MelonDS)
