I feel like I'm the only one who takes her a little seriously. I think her design is pretty solid and I kind of like the idea of this sort of urban elder who's still "keeping it real." I think she's pretty quirky in concept, but I don't think it's that comically crazy to just have an older person who still manages to keep up with the music and fashion of the youth.

But FUCK that young version is so fucking hot and it drives me crazy that she isn't real. I JUST WANT TO NUT IN PRIME BROWN RAPPER BITCH SO BAD.

I agree with this. The game shows that there's plenty of fresh hip-hop talent, so it makes it harder to believe that she's maintained her popularity for so long without being displaced by someone younger (and more attractive).

"Rapping grandma" seems like such a specific concept that it needs even the slightest backstory to support it, but since there's nothing it feels like it's supposed to be taken as a joke. Except it's not funny.

You're not wrong, but I do still stand by my sentiment. The point is that everyone seems to look up to her and the town still turns up to her shows. To me she comes across less as someone who won't let go, and more as a well respected artist who's work continues to be recognized.
