Well it doesn't really work too well if we're both scarlet, if we both go for scarlet mons we'll get 10 spawns max.
Meanwhile if you go solo, you'll get 12 spawns.

So any violet player, now's your chance.
Jump in and you'll get a lot of paradox scarlet shinies.

No, it's an old tech and it really isn't a meme. It's a decent momentum tech after stalling out the mon garg was supposed to target with salt cure. Protect/recover, salt cure, wide guard, explosion is a decent set.

Sometimes, I wonder if anyone at gamefreak even plays their own games. This is genuinely the last time I buy a pokemon game. There isn't a single aspect of this game that I would consider fun. I try to find some fun, but it just doesn't exist
>online battles are all gimmick teams
>main game is extremely buggy
>battles regressed from PLA and are back to the slow, text-based boring slog they've been for 25 years
>impossible to make any team for battling without spending 10+ hours grinding
>absolutely nothing to do post game other than slog through raids to build teams for online battling

Are there any Scarlet bros who haven’t caught Koraidon yet and want something from Violet? I’m at 399 on my dex and would kind of like to do the trick where someone hosts a union circle to let other anons face their fixed-location legendary, but I didn’t find out it was a thing until after I caught my game’s Miraidon. (If we fucked it up somehow and it saved your progress after I caught it, I’d give it back to you without a second thought.)
I feel like this is a big ask without being able to host the same trick in return though

Not asking you to try it, but I think I miscommunicated how it works; your lizard should be safe from someone stealing it from under you, so before you miss a chance to farm duplicates of it:
>You have Koraidon in Area Zero
>You save your game outside of Area Zero
>You turn off autosave
>You host a Union Circle
>You take another player with you into Area Zero where Koraidon is located
>Someone else starts battling Koraidon
>You close your game WITHOUT SAVING
>When you turn it back on, Koraidon will still be there waiting for you, regardless of whether in normal play or union circle
>Meanwhile, in some other person’s game, they’ve entered a battle with a now completely separate copy of Koraidon’s file, which now has no bearing on your game
>If they catch it, cool, you still have yours there waiting for you; if they don’t same thing
>If you play your cards right, you can have someone farm multiples for you by rehosting, quitting, rehosting…
>Including filling out balltism collections
I hope that clears it up a bit; I haven’t tried going into Area Zero during a Union Circle yet, but I don’t think they can snag it from you unless you’re also down there. I’m pretty sure from other descriptions in these threads that you can’t START a circle in Area Zero, which would mean that they could only get into it with your permission; and if they went to that spot without you, it would load that area with their own legendary (or empty spot where it used to be)

No idea; are we talking about with saving so your game says “okay someone caught the Koraidon on this cartridge, it’s gone now” and the E4 challenge resetting that so it forgets? I don’t think that would work.
…I’m not positive we’re talking about the same concept. Keep in mind, if someone hosts a circle to let others catch their legendary, they can do the trick to duplicate it indefinitely for others, but can’t catch it more than once for themselves. Once you catch it, your options are a) save, meaning you keep it but now your game saves that it’s been caught and shouldn’t spawn there, or b) reset for a better nature or something, provided you don’t save.

Have you any experience with farigiraf? I think the only thing I struggle against right now is palafin aqua jet spam. I don't see many teams running it, but I think it would be nice to have armor tail. I really like the bulk and iv speed of scream tail though.

So I am told.
Theoretically this would work for the extra large pokemon you can find in the main story herba mystica sites; they similarly hang out in one spot in the overworld until you come up to them and press A.
Some of the anons above have been doing a similar trick with shinies—if one union circle player finds one, they’re able to let other anons come near them so it appears in their game as well, reset, and then re-enter that area, where the shiny individual will still spawn. That one seems shakier, because I’m not sure what all variables are involved in predetermining where normal wild pokemon will spawn (you might accidentally get your game to spawn a different shiny somewhere you aren’t looking or behind a wall or something), but it seems to work well enough that people do it here all the time. It’s a good proof of concept for additionally soft resetting for fixed-position mons.

The only problem I can see, assuming the trick works the way I’ve had it described to me, is that if the game does a check to see if you have a copy of it when determining whether it should appear, then that might mean you can only get the one.
Admittedly I haven’t looked up a tutorial on this yet, so I’m going to see if I can find one to answer some of these questions, but I’ll check back shortly.

There's no real "worth" to these 1s and 0s but what people in communities deem worthy.
The usual ratio for a shiny roaring on an apriball is like 10 apriballs or so from what I've seen/traded, with normal shinies being around 3-4 apriballs and apriball shinies being 4-6 apriballs

Update: Now that I’m looking into it, I can’t find anything about how to do this after searching for koraidon, miraidon, and varous combinations of “duplicate,” “union circle,” and “exploit.” An initial google preview (the sample that appears before you follow a link to its source) for a reddit thread indicates that players can’t fight others’ legendaries, but there’s nothing in that thread; I can’t remember whether I heard about people doing the exploit here, or through an unrelated google search when I was trying to look up something else a few weeks ago.
TL;DR: Can’t find a consensus, so it’s probably worth trying but it looks like we’re on our own, and it might turn out not to be possible.

As I said before I think the second koraidon or miraidon that spawns in area zero runs by the same rules as overworld items in pokeballs, where they only appear for you.
I assume that's the case because I never pick up non-TM items, and all my items are still around even after hosting multiple area zero hunts.

So if we were all to save and reset, I wouldn't be able to see the Tatsu either since it's registered as caught in my game now as well.

As I said before, fixed spawn pokemon run by the same rules as pokeball overworld items, they show up only for person themselves. It just looks like we're both looking at the same pokemon because it spawns in the exact same spot.

I think the last potentially interesting thing that anyone would be able to do with this is seeing if the legendary lizards show up for each individual player, or if something about the host overrides this >>53164856 principle so that a violet joiner sees a host Koraidon; I doubt it, but if the game’s placeholder for “fixed spawn appears here” doesn’t also have the ID for “this lizard species specifically,” then that might be a possible exploit, just a much less useful one (no infinite lizards)

as a VGC player, right now it's not necessarily worth the trouble to get a 0 IV Flutter or Bundle

The only Foul Play user in the format is Murkrow really, maybe sometimes Gothitelle will run it, and Grimmsnarl *can* run it but they usually don't. Murkrow has completely fallen off now and it's all Talonflame. At max you're talking about 1%-3% more damage depending on your damage roll if you have like a normal "pretty good" IV Flutter. The margins matter even less for Bundle since it has some physical bulk.

If I come across another 0 IV Hands though I'll give it your way

If you update the news when the raid is available you can stay offline till you catch it.
Raids aren't a joke though if you play single and require building a strong pokemon that isn't hard but may require a trip to youtube.

There's a chance they will repeat though it's anyone's guess, there never did any repeats for other games to my knowledge with these being the first.

Happens.
You can only spawn flutter manes at night, however if it's a shiny it will spawn regardless so it will just randomly pop out of nowhere with no other Pokemon around if it's day time.

As long as you're on that shallow lake behind the final base it should spawn, eventually.
