>>53158329Yes, and there's no point. It would be lacking the element of childhood wimsy and wonder, as well as my own personal attachment to the creatures. I can design 151 of my own not-Pokemon no problem, I won't have any attachment to them like I do to Pokemon, or Digimon, or anything else I already know. And the same problem will extend to my audience, nobody will have the attachment from childhood besides a bunch of Gen Alpha fuckwits.
Basically I'm too attached to Pokemon/other monster series to care about making my own. I'm content with other genres, but there's only one Pokemon.
