It's a romhack for Emerald that turns the game into a roguelite. Instead of normal Pokemon gameplay you do runs in which you select between different encounters (areas with wild pokemon, shops, special events, ...) until you eventually fight a gym leader, after which the process repeats with increasingly harder opponents and higher level caps for your own Pokemon. If your Pokemon faints, it's gone for the remainder of the run. A run ends once you manage to defeat all 8 gyms, the E4, and the champion, or run out of usable Pokemon.

If you faint on a run, you are returned to a Hub area. In this hub area, you can unlock various tools to make future runs easier (e.g. you can buy items in the hub to bring with you on your next run, change your starter Pokemon, improve IVs, ...).

There are various difficulty settings for you to choose from and you can enable national/regional dex for any gen between 1-8. Megas/Z-Moves can also be enabled. Furthermore, the game contains a questlog that rewards you with hub upgrades or items/Pokemon if you complete runs with certain settings or hit various other milestones.

There are level caps between each gym that you reach by fighting like 3-4 wild Pokemon, exp gain is heavily modified to a point where grinding levels is practically not a thing at all. Even if you fail to hit the level cap, there is a trainer before every gym that lets you fight their lvl 5 Chansey to bring your entire team to the cap.
