The pokemon is not just attacking you normally, it's having an innocent, childlike blast doing it.
It's mischievous, it's sadistic, and it is thus something that an european fairy or fae would do. Or you could see it, for some other pokemon where the fairy type is here to denotate their "hero" nature (zacian), as the pokemon deriving pleasure from smiting evil. In any case, it's still mildly sadistic.
