It's even worse in Gen 2 where he gets Hitmontop, which makes sense. But still kept one of the Onix's when Heracross was right there, it's insane. That's not even getting into FR/LG where the only change in his team in the remakes was him evolving his Onix's into Steelix's, which is just as retarded, like why does he not have Hitmontop here?
