>>53168539That's a good question, I'm not too sure myself. I'd love to go to worlds but I'm not so delusional that I think I'll do well. I can do well if I grind the meta, but it hasn't been since ORAS when I last did that much work in the game. It sounds fun as hell as an experience whether playing or just spectating, but again if it's not so close in continental US I don't really have a ghost of a chance to go, let alone compete.
I think I want the feeling of local community back, I want to feel like there are more places to talk about the league and meta with that isn't some youtuber's discord server. I think I'm being a little obtuse, I never went on nugget bridge or victory road and talked with people there, and other than showdown chat I dont know where people meet today and talk or post. From my limited perspective it seems like every big name has inner circles they run with and people piggyback off those crowds.
I also think I might not know what I'm asking for here, I'm in my early 30s now, and while age is just a number and I'm sure I'm not the only one it feels weird the idea of meeting people like 18 or 20 trying to bond the same ways I did with masters league players 5 years ago.
