Heres an idea how to make the vgc doubles better.
Ban the move protect, wide guard and other blocking moves
Ban sucker punch or make the damage go 40

Have you ever actually played doubles? Calyrex Ice/Calyrex Shadow/Kyogre/Groudon/Zygarde are already overpowered as fuck in doubles by virtue of being able to solo sweep with dual-target moves while a second mon runs support/breaks sashes. If you spam that shit and get punished by Wide Guard, that's entirely on you.

Only Calyrex forms have little counterplay, shadow one has a ton of checks and ice is still able to get Intimidated, though.

Obviously! you're such a kind guy. You've mastered VGC in its current form to such an extent that its no longer fun. The only way to fix it is to return it to a purer form. A form where the plebs stand a chance: no protect, no wide guard, no sucker punch. In fact, no status moves or priority full stop. Just an honest game of damage calcs and speed ties. god speed!
