DQ is good because Yuji Horii is still overseeing the brand and maintaining a level of quality control. Final Fantasy has sucked because the Fabula Nova Crystalis bullshit ended up weighing it down for about a decade.
Squenix is a shitshow, but you should at least understand the company it is.
