>>53185917>Hey, you know all those are Gen2 pokemon that don't evolve and are nowhere near strong enough to justify their rarity, we actually had ideas for evolutions for them all along and some were even in the beta, but we only had room for 100 new Pokemon and decided that a bunch of baby versions of Gen 1 Pokémon were a better use of space. >Don't worry, SOME of the Gen2 single stagers will get evolutions later even some have to wait over 2 decades, but they'll be part of other region's dex's . >But look on the bright side, instead of Johto being known as the region that rewards exploration with initially weak Pokémon that eventually evolve into powerful for ingame and competitively viable with hard work, Johto will be known as the region full of single-stage shitters and being KANTO's nursery, cool with that? >Also one of the babies is for Jigglypuff, a Pokemon that's already babyish, cool with that too? >Also your starters don't get Megas because Megas too cool for starters of a baby region like Johto, cool with that too?Who the fuck is Igglybuff for?
Baby Pokemon are already a hard sell since its forces the player to put in extra work breeding to get a weaker version of a Pokemon they already have
The Odd Egg fixes this, but no one wants Igglybuff to hatch from it because every other option is far more useful (fuck you can catch Jigglypuff just outside the place you get the damn odd egg)
People who like the concept baby Pokemon don't like Igglybuff because they want babies for Pokémon that are strong enough to warrant them like Lapras, and Tauros/Miltank (fuck, that last one would have been kino)
People who like the Jigglypuff line wouldn't have Igglybuff as their favorite since it's just Jigglypuff with the cuteness cranked up so far that it becomes creepy (what's with the red eyes)
Who could like this thing, why would anyone like this thing?
