>youWhat about you? These are always the same deflections. Why don't you think wolfe would expand his audience by trying new things? (Wolfe tried unite over other formats) I think that is the attitude that keeps all you doubles fucks in your comfort zone. In order to be able to play pokemon I've had to learn to play vgc, the last 3 gens have been trying to make it harder and harder to play singles. So you bad attitude folks keep trying to narrow the game for others.
Wolfe is putting together a new battle series, he is obviously avoiding any attempt at competing with tpci, but I think he should. (I understand look what happend to 'Smash World Tour', but also look what happend to Panda and Nintendo afterword). Vgc doubles was created because battles otherwise took "too" long. Which is a terrible assumption. I understand, I've been to regionals and North America internats, and it is busy, mentally demanding, and hard to complete on schedule. So excuse me when I say it'd be even better if these tourneys also hosted 6v6 singles and bss 3v3. The audience is growing and there will be the capital to attempt to overcome the challenges of such a grand tourney. But because of habit, past experience, tpci chooses the easy route and doesn't shake the boat. Remember this is the biggest media franchise in history, and almost everything they deliver is sub par.
Imagine if they hosted multi battles the way smash hosts doubles? This game could be so fun, diverse, and celebrated for such.
