Pokemon Games have not all taken place on the same planet/universe. Kanto and Johto were on earth and intended to be a strange sci fi phenomena that was discovered recently and not widely known by most of the world for a majority of human history. The next setting retconned this concept and had them be a crucial part of human cultures and mythologies as well as being responsible for the balance and maintenance of all aspects of nature and reality, this was the high fantasy setting where pokemon are an established part of history, National folklore and religion. The next setting is what the intellectual circles (me) call the basedtopia, this one has regions that are just geographical parallels of earth with many aspects of their culture and history being identical or very similar to our timeline but having pokemythology present, this setting also introduces fairy (tranny) types and mega evolutions, hinting to a poke ww2 and has a parallel nuclear weapon, the main combatants are implied to have been a Kanto lead coalition opposing a Hoenn led one as seen by the Pokémon that got megas (this means they died the most). It is likely Hoenn was victorious given there are more adult men alive in Hoenn and your dad is alive. Next comes the Ubersoy setting this one is very gay and very bad! In conclusion Pokemon is a multiverse and the Basedtopia setting confirmed this. I have made a graphic to assist the feeble minded who may attempt to deny the truth.
