Nintendo owns the rights to TCG, because they went and bought it (as 1/3rd rights holder to the overall) and published it themselves.
Game Freak own dev rights to Pokémon and they prefer to charge for their games, where possible (even remaking Kanto, so they didn't need to bother making a Switch port compatible with Home).
I expect a remake of an older game, before Game Freak bother with adding games to the NSO.

Anon, they announced both Pokemon Stadium games for the N64 classics lineup months ago. They are 100% putting up the Pokemon GB games.

Honestly I expect them to put the Pokemon games on the GB VC, but separate from the others, just to make you pay like 5 bucks for each.
I wouldn't be surprised if they ended up releasing Stadium without the GB games to go with them like retards, but that seems unlikely to me still

Nintendo pays studios for the rights to Switch Online games they don't own, they can absolutely pay Game Freak. I swear you people make it out like the two are bitter enemies.
