my retro collection disagrees and keeps on growing but I guess you're too poor for that
new games are just a waste of space. soulless cases, no cool manuals, games don't even have all the data or you have to download patches day 1 and they become a gimped experience or even useless when the stores shut down. i can't find any justification for me to pay AND wait for the official release when not paying AND getting to play it early is an option
at least with a cib nes game I have a cool collectible to look at that all have increased in resell value and still is the complete experience 35 years later

Thanks to inclusion of things like breakable weapons, cars, bikes and rideable drones and exclusion of things like dungeons and dungeon items, it seriously feels like Zelda franchise has lost it's identity.
Even with bad optimization, bad character designs and open world, Scarlet and Violet still feels like a Pokemon game.
