In fact a ton of the new footage was literally just locations I recognized immediately from BotW except Link was using a new power up or there was a new enemy there. The one huge thing about this game, which we do know and would like to see more of, is how expansive the sky realm is and if its actually an alternative to "you're just in BotW again" and they've barely focused on it.
You just sound completely mindbroken that you know you have to pay 70 bucks for what will be a 70$ BotW DLC that took 6 years to make. Just accept it at this point, it'll make everything easier. It seems pretty clear from the Direct and mainline Mario being out of picture for over a year now that Nintendo wants to focus on new IPs now, which is frankly a good thing.
