>>53192237Oh well. Stadium 1 and 2 free of charge along with Red Rescue Team (it’s in the datamined full GBA list alongside Pinball RS) is way more generous than I’d ever expect GF to be, I think a lot more is possible than we’d think. And not that it carries weight for Pokemon but it does carry weight for games that are usually heinously marked up, NSO also has: Mario 64, Banjo Kazooie, Goldeneye, Superstar Saga, Minish Cap. The fact of the matter is that NSO’s retro catalogue is unlike anything we’ve seen from Nintendo before, they’re willing to make gatekept games “free” because this is the first time we’ve ever had to continuously pay them for online. I’m really struggling to see why they would bother porting the Stadium games if there was no way to import a gameboy team, the people who are saying no way for the mainline titles may be in for a shock here soon. Plus, having GB(C) games on the lower subscription tier and N64 on the premium will probably make a lot of Pokemon-influenced sales driven from players who beat the classic games and now want to use their teams in Stadium; boom, subscription upgraded. I understand the skepticism but I’m gonna go ahead and say for reasons of logic instead of hype or hope that it will happen. Pokemon makes sales, Switch Online is sales.
