I just use NSUI to download cias of each rom and play it on 3DS CFW

But I hear mgba is a good emu

Yeah. Cant do shit with an emulator without a rom (sometimes), and you cant do shit with a rom without the right emulator.

Any emulator made in the last 2 decades will let you save like normal, just play it like you’re legitimately playing the game
