> Starts with Alain facing off against Zinnia and losing to her who takes his keystone away.> Ash learns a mysterious girl with Mega Salamence who challenge Mega Evolution user in battle and steal their keystone after losing. > Ash goes to Hoenn and meet up with Steven and Alain . > He learns an Asteroid is heading toward the Planet that would cause an extinction level event and Steven planned to use the energy of Mega Evolution to send it to another world> Zinnia appears to berate Steven and Alain again for dooming another world just like they did to their world.> Here is the story, The Megalith from XY&Z was meant to Mega evolve Rayquaza to destroy a prophesied Asteroid and Aster meant to protect it. But due to Steven and Alain's stupidity allowed Team Flare to stole it when Aster got sick. > Aster tried to get it back but Steven and Lysandre ignored her and eventually Team Flare used it for their evil plan causing Zygarde to destroy the Megalith. It caused Aster to fall into deep depression that worsen her sickness and eventually lead to her death. > Zinnia blames Steven and Alain for Aster's depression, death & their role in the destruction for the Megalith so she trying to find a way to fulfill Aster's last wish.> Her first plan is to work with Xerosic to locate the ultimate weapon from Kalos and use it to Mega Evolve Rayquaza. > Xerosic tries to activate the weapon only for Zinnia to stop him by leading the main character to him and steal a piece of the Ultimate weapon.> Ash meets Greninja on Kalos who gives him the last surviving piece of the Megalith that is given to him by Zygarde> Zinnia tries to Mega Evolve Rayquaza by using the piece of ultimate weapon which fails until Ash use the shard of Megalith to Mega Evolve Rayquaza and use him to destroy the Asteroid and defeat Deoxys.
