Mega is a permanent in-battle form: if you include a Charizard with the Mega stone in your team, it will be Mega Charizard. For the duration of the battle
If you include a Charizard with GMAX factor in your team, it will not be GMAX Charizard the whole time. It will only be transformed for 3 turns or never at all, you can have it fight the whole battle as regular Charizard.
In simple terms, using a pokémon with Mega Stone = using a Mega pokémon. But using a Pokémon with GMAX factor =/= using a GMAX Pokémon. So GMAX is not included in "usage statistics".
