Just to be clear, Rotom should not be getting the treatment that was given to Red's Clefairy in a very old Pokemon manga.

Having a Rotom-Dex in SM when Rotom wasn't even in this game's regional dex was so fucking weird
literally one of the first mons you see, couldn't be registered at any point

I don't care that they put Rotom in everyone's phones. At least it doesn't stare at you from the bottom screen the entire game like in SM/USUM. I have aspergers and the constant eye contact unnerved me.

Rotom was never a legendary. You can even trade for one in-game in Black and White.

I know most people find him annoying and they probably wanted to tone it down but the recent Rotom (phones etc...) being practically mute and mass produced always give me weird vibes. maybe they talk in the anime but I don't really watch them

I love Rotom, but I hate that's it's being reduced to gimmicks and getting forms that are unusable in battle. Hearing that Rotom had a new form planned for SV and it got scrapped pissed me off even more.
