Either this or birds only challenge, I don't think you can get a psychic early on at all no? Or can you get a Natu from the Ruins of Alph entrance at Violet City?

Actually not bad, only forgot about Eggs because of Headbutt encounter. Doable, wouldn't bother changing the starter to a Psychic type since there's only one gym to beat before all your encounters open up.

Getting an Espeon before Morty will take forever. You basically have to stop playing the game for a while specifically to get that Pokemon before Morty.

I used Xatu as my flying type in my recent playthrough of Crystal. Wish his stats were a bit better but I love how he looks in Gen 2 so it’s alright.

You get it in Ruins of Alph. I think you just need surf, since you have to access it through Union Cave to get to the grass where it's at.

You can get one right after beating Morty.
Use Surf in the Union Cave. Tb h right now I don't remember if you need Strenght or not.

That’s weird. I only remember having to solve one of the puzzles to access the Natu grass. I don’t remember requiring surf or having to go to Union cave. Though it’s been a while since I played
