>>53213601>For SwShgame is so shit that modding isn't enough to fix it. You'd need to completely revamp the level-design AND the pacing of the game in order for it to be bearable.
dexcut is also physically impossible to remedy in non-BDSP, post-B2W2 games since we can't add mons, only replace them.
>For PLAI think that straight-up, there's a lack of interest for this one? The biggest thing PLA lacks is a postgame area, but obviously we can't fucking add maps in non-BDSP games.
PLA doesn't really need much fixes aside from a non-shit battle system, which is a thing we also can't change.
>For SVUnless this has changed since I last checked, we STILL don't have a Trainer editor. so lol.
pnly a few mods exist as a result, and it's mostly to fix SV's most retarded decisions, like PLAmons being unavailable, Finizen's evo method, garbage shinies, etc
We -are- experimenting on scaling, but it's not quite functional in a convenient way yet.
>For BDSPThat is just untrue. BDSP modding is fucking cracked and already outpacing DS-era modding
in BDSP you can:
- add any mon, not limited in moveset slots either
- freely change encounter tables
- add new animations and moves
- change some of the battle engine mechanics (ex Hail to Snow, Freeze to Frostbite)
and we are experimenting with adding custom maps. The one thing that may never be done is adding Battle Frontier, but I wouldn't speak too fast
If we don't see a lot of romhacks at the moment, it's because Luminescent has the monopoly until it releases.
