>>53214468A lot of the ones in this thread are actually pretty good. I don't know where else to say this, but I have a huge issue with a lot of the fake regionals people make. All of the regionals we have gotten so far retain a similar silhouette and design elements to the original. The typing also either retains one of the original types or swaps it out for another element. So when I see all these fake regionals out here where they suddenly completely change the body shape, design essence and typing of a Pokémon it might as well just be an original design. The worst offenders are all of the fan games that take the shit way too far and give us shit like a jack-o-lantern Quagsire. I also don't like how people make regional evolutions for everything now. Yes, that is a thing now. But game freak has used it somewhat sparingly and not every regional form even after the concept has gotten a separate evolution. So no, we don't need your 37th American Southwest based fakemon region to have a regional evolution for every fan favorite Pokémon just to match whatever your gimmick is. It's kind of lame and I miss the sort of limited creativity that we were forced to use back when it was only Alolan forms that were known. Because now that we have convergent forms and regional forms and evolutions that regional... People are just making all sorts of crazy shit and not actually trying to limit themselves to really be clever about what they are creating
