The graphics are eyebleedingly terrible by Switch standards (let alone modern gen games as a whole) and normies who can usually stomach bad graphics got sick of the performance issues. Stuttering, lag, framerate problems and numerous graphical/audio glitches are really fucking big problems. Especially in the context of 2023 gaming when we've had so many AAA devs releasing broken and buggy games at launch.
Even that score is too high and it shows that Pokemon fans are unironic shiteating retards who will settle for pigslop because it's "fun".

For me:
Sudden switch from more than 25 years of anime styling, then cell shading in 3D, to making everything look like Unity phone game assets out of fucking nowhere.
A lot of pokemon look creepy as fuck with 3D eyes and mouths.
Performs like absolute dog shit because of unnecessary poly bloat and model texture scale that wasn't required under simple cell shading.

Its the normies. The same normies that think swsh is a good game despite being creatively bankrupt because it plays and looks like a pokemon game should look are the ones that now see that the games are a clusterfuck of bad development because of the glitches. 7.2 is what a pokemon game deserves in general, it was coated by a lot of fanservice and ignorance so, now that the spaghetti shows, dimwitts can see it too.

BDSP was much less buggy AND the bugs were actually also all fixed for the most part in the patch
SV are outright Bethesda broken-tier and still remain unfixed. On top of 1/10 graphics & fps

BDSP is also a much better playing game as its a peak DS game (just updated) rather than nu-pokemon garbage with a garbage gimmick

Lol the Battle tracks are mostly subpar when compared to every other gen except for swsh. The area zero themes are actually good though. But toby screwed up 90% of the music.

Toby only composed Tera Raid, the Area Zero themes and some other shit, but not the battle themes. He's a faggot but he's not the reason the game is shit and is responsible for a lot of why the only "good" part of the game is decent, so I'll give him that
