I wouldn't compare SV or Legends with the other three, because they aren't doing arenas the battles are out in the open.

But holy shit looking at it Lets Go really did have the best battle backgrounds when compared to SWSH or BDSP

I just hate how sluggish battles have become in the 3D era. There are moves and even species of Pokemon that I avoid using just because the animations take too fucking long

I'm so glad they made the shit to battles happening on the spot. Idk why but it adds so much to the game. Battling trainers on cliffs or otherwise in front of nice views is always a great experience because of it. Also like being able to control the camera, and PLA uses the fact that battle take place in the overworld to let nearby mons literally join in (They just watch in SV but that's a nice touch too)

so far i have tried Nova Sun, Rutile/Rising Ruby, Neo XY and divine sword. I'm was hoping to find a similar mod for bdsp and SV but I guess it's still too soon

>Gen 9, literally 6 years later still has every stat message raise individually (rip to the 5 Klawf users), and the messages take legitimately over twice as long as SM’s did in a meta where battles can actually be determined by going down to timer

textures could be better in the swsh one but i actually still quite like the way it looks, lets go definitely looks the best though since it had battlefields for inside, there's no weird voids like for swsh's interiors or BDSP's galactic battles as far as i remember

There isn't, but overall LGPE also has less unique battlefields than SwSh. Like SwSh has different battlefields for both different mines, different routes, etc, while LGPE cheated a bit and reused some of those across different routes/caves.

Why would they try when they can put out a horrifically unoptimized game game egregious memory leak issues and you'll still eat it up like voracious animals? SV are the best selling games since GSC and SwSh the best selling since RBY. If you bought em, you only have yourself to blame.

I thought the same yeah, the arena shit feels stupid. The problem is that SV is graphically weak in general, though. If the world looked better it would make battles look way better too, obviously. Hope they'll get their shit together in the next game.

Because the story was actually so much better than in SwSh. I was extremely surprised myself, I thought they'd never write a decent story but they managed in SV.
I'm not optimistic at all, but I think it's at least a plausible possibility.
