Some notes:
>The Exp. All, general handholding and the affection mechanic make the first 4 listed probably the least fun to play without any handicap. My Gen 6 teams were also level 90 by the Elite Four because of it.
>USUM’s position is simply due to Ultra Necrozma actually requiring some kind of strategy to defeat.
>May/Brendan battle 2 alone is why I put RSE where it is simply because it is challenging without any preparation, though Steven in Emerald is also a tough battle.
>You could theoretically beat Red in HGSS underleveled using battle item cheese strats, but even those aren’t perfect as seen in speedruns of the game.
>Legends: Arceus is the first Pokémon game where I blacked out at least 3 times, due to either fall damage or getting my ass kicked in the overworld by Alphas, which rightfully earns its position.
